LEED Green Buildings Manager

Our specialty is proactive indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring programs which building owners and mangers use to maintain smooth building operations, retain and attract tenants, and build value into their assets.

We also help building owners and manager achieve certain select points towards Green Building Certification via the U.S. Green Building Council LEED program. Our offices are in the metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C., New York City, and Orange County, CA. We are currently looking for a qualified individual to help up establish, grow, and manage a full service Green Building/LEED consulting division so that we may leverage our impressive existing commercial building owner client list.

Qualified candidates MUST:

Be a LEED AP
Have a college degree in a building related science or other relevant expertise.
Have a minimum of three years professional experience in the area of Green Building/LEED consulting.
Enjoy business travel as needed in order to be successful.
Relish a compensation package that is part salary and part commissions.

Air Quality Specialist
Fairfax, VA office

Healthy Buildings International (HBI), a leader in commercial building indoor air quality investigations, is looking for an environmental air quality specialist with HVAC experience to become a member of our team. The job will require basic inspection of commercial building air handling systems and related subsystems as well as the collection of environmental data. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years experience working in industrial hygiene, HVAC systems, or related environmental specialty. Good communication skills, leadership ability, and a clean driving record are a must. The candidate must thrive working independently and be detail oriented. Technical Writer
South Orange, NJ office

A versatile, technically trained individual with excellent written and communication skills is required for this office serving the New York area. After extensive training in the field of IAQ inspections this individual will assume responsibilities for preparing technical inspection reports. On-going duties will include hands-on field inspections, report writing and inside-sales support. In view of the flexible nature of this work, an ambitious and independent individual who is willing to travel is preferred.
