History

Originally founded in the USA in 1980, the European operation, established in 1992, HBI provides a comprehensive service capability from our offices in Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Galway as well as in London, Leeds and Glasgow. HBI can therefore offer national and local coverage to support an ever growing and diverse range of blue-chip customers across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.

Our Team

HBI remains a pioneer of the latest developments, and because these developments are increasingly wide-ranging we have a policy of employing experts from diverse scientific and engineering backgrounds. For example, our people hold qualifications in Microbiology, Environmental Science, Building Engineering, Risk Management, energy Management and Health & Safety, to name but a few of their specialities. All are actively encouraged to to pursue further training and research, so we can be sure of offering clients the very latest information.

Global Approach to Quality

All HBI building inspections throughout the world are undertaken to the same exacting standards and the information is compiled and recorded in a unique database, thus enabling HBI to pass on its world-wide technical experience to its clients. HBI Ireland's integrated Quality and Environmental Management Systems achieved registration to ISO 9001/14001 in October 2004. HBI also hold full Employee and Public Liability Insurance as well as Professional Indemnity Insurance
